Role


To provide professional, accurate, and timely advice and support to prospective students, applicants, and stakeholders across a range of communication channels. The post holder will manage enquiries relating to undergraduate admissions, ensuring a high standard of customer service and adherence to University policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage and manage the Undergraduate Admissions Outlook inbox, reviewing incoming enquiries and responding to general admissions-related queries within the UKRO folder.
  • Monitor and respond to prospective student enquiries on The Student Room, providing accurate guidance on admissions processes, entry requirements, and application procedures.
  • Manage and respond to enquiries received through social media platforms using Sprout Social, ensuring communications are professional, informative, and aligned with institutional standards.
  • Respond to straightforward Medicine and Dentistry admissions enquiries within SAP CRM, using approved templates, guidance, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of applicant interactions and correspondence within relevant University systems.
  • Ensure all enquiries are handled efficiently and within agreed service standards.
  • Escalate complex, sensitive, or specialist enquiries to the appropriate admissions or academic teams.
  • Contribute to delivering an excellent applicant experience by providing clear, consistent, and customer-focused communications.
  • Support the wider Undergraduate Admissions team with administrative and operational activities as required.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection legislation, University regulations, and admissions policies.

Essential Criteria

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Experience of handling enquiries and providing accurate information in a professional environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a high volume of work.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Office applications.
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and approved guidance when responding to enquiries.


Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working in Higher Education, admissions, student recruitment, or a customer service environment.
  • Experience of using CRM systems, particularly SAP CRM.
  • Experience of managing social media enquiries or online community engagement.
  • Knowledge of undergraduate admissions processes, including Medicine and Dentistry admissions.
