Job Title: Personal Assistant

Contract Length: 9-12 Months
Location: Birmingham, Manchester, or Derby
Pay: £18.27 per hour (PAYE)


Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support a group of senior leaders within a Transportation business. This role can be based in Birmingham, Manchester, or Derby.

Working as part of a collaborative and supportive administration function, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of business operations. You will be experienced, adaptable, and proactive in your approach. This is a fast-paced and varied position, suited to someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and making a real impact behind the scenes.


Key Responsibilities

The role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Managing complex diaries, meetings, and appointments
  • Coordinating travel, accommodation, and logistics
  • Preparing and submitting monthly expenses
  • Monitoring actions, deadlines, and key deliverables for Senior Leadership members
  • Producing high-quality reports, presentations, and correspondence
  • Maintaining accurate databases and filing systems
  • Creating, maintaining, and effectively using digital collaboration and communication platforms including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Viva Engage, and other channels
  • Providing cover and support for colleagues when required
  • Tracking and chasing deliverables such as performance reviews (PDRs), mandatory training, and other internal systems
  • Working closely with other administrative professionals to provide seamless support
  • Supporting compliance with business processes, procedures, and policies
  • Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and ways of working
  • Providing guidance and support to colleagues where appropriate
  • Using digital and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and productivity
