Our client, a reputable organisation committed to health, safety, and quality standards in South Oxfordshire is hiring for a dedicated QHSF Administrator to support their Facilities Management team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for safety and process improvement.
What you'll be doing:
* Providing administrative support to the Head of QHSF, including planning, monitoring, and reporting on activities.
* Taking minutes, maintaining action logs, and handling sensitive information with discretion.
* Assisting in implementing corrective actions from incident investigations and safety concerns.
* Supporting forums, working groups, and maintaining the Health & Safety SharePoint site.
* Monitoring compliance schedules such as PPMs, inspections, and statutory checks.
* Coordinating routine servicing, inspections, and contractor visits, ensuring permits and documentation are in order.
* Facilitating safety training, toolbox talks, and conducting shop floor audits.
* Managing registers for equipment, assets, and contractor records.
* Supporting the QA team with service calls, supplier returns, and documentation reviews.
* Preparing reports, correspondence, and assisting with process improvements.
What you'll bring:
* Experience in a similar health, safety, and facilities administration role.
* Good understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and ISO 9001 standards.
* IOSH Managing Safely or higher qualification.
* Proven ability to write risk assessments, method statements, and work instructions.
* Experience conducting workplace inspections and checks in a production or manufacturing environment.
* Strong organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail and time management.
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
* A positive, flexible, and proactive approach, with a willingness to learn new skills.
