Manpower is recruiting on behalf of Aston Martin for an Auto Electrician to join their manufacturing facility working in Gaydon.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Auto Electrician to join one of the world's most iconic luxury automotive brands and play a key role in driving manufacturing excellence across the Valhalla area.
As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults on vehicles, including the removal and refitting of interior and exterior trim when required. You will use specialist diagnostic equipment to test, verify and interpret fault data, helping to minimise rework and maintain production efficiency. The role also involves accurately recording and reporting faults, supporting engineering and production teams in identifying and resolving issues.
Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will complete work on Valhalla download stations in line with takt times and established process instructions. You will verify vehicle specifications against build requirements and customer options, ensure the safe storage of controlled components and substances, and contribute to continuous quality, productivity and process improvement initiatives. Maintaining the highest standards of safety, housekeeping and discipline will be an essential part of your daily responsibilities.
The successful candidate will have completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification, and possess relevant automotive industry experience. You will have strong technical knowledge of automotive electrical systems, harness manufacture and electronic module diagnostics, together with the ability to read and interpret engineering circuit diagrams and process documentation. Experience of electrical architecture and VCATS would be advantageous.
You will also demonstrate excellent communication skills, be confident working with engineers and suppliers to resolve technical issues and be fully computer literate. The ability to work independently, manage changing priorities and maintain exceptional attention to detail is essential.
