Vehicle Build Technician
Aston Martin | St Athan

Are you looking for an opportunity to work with one of the world's most prestigious automotive brands? Manpower is currently recruiting Build Technicians to join the team at Aston Martin's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in St Athan.

As a Vehicle Build Technician, you will play a key role in the creation of some of the most desirable luxury performance vehicles in the world. Beautifully engineered vehicles are the result of meticulous design, dedicated craftsmanship, rigorous testing and exceptional attention to detail. This role offers the opportunity to support the vehicle throughout various stages of the build process, making every day different and rewarding.

Working as part of a highly skilled production team, you will follow detailed on-screen work instructions to assemble vehicle components to exacting quality standards. Responsibilities will include preparing and cleaning vehicle chassis, picking and organising parts for production workstations, carrying out assembly operations using hand tools, ensuring tasks are completed within cycle times, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining excellent housekeeping standards throughout your work area.

We are looking for candidates who have a good understanding of manufacturing processes and experience working in a production, assembly, engineering or similar environment. You should be comfortable using small hand tools, following detailed processes and working to quality standards within a fast-paced, team-focused environment. A positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong attention to detail are essential.

The position offers a variety of shift patterns including day shifts and double day shifts. Typical hours include Monday to Thursday day shifts from 6.30am to 3.30pm with a 6.30am to 11.30am finish on Fridays. Double day shifts operate on an early shift pattern of 6.00am to 2.00pm and a late shift pattern of 2.00pm to 1.00am. Shift requirements may vary depending on business needs.

Contractual overtime arrangements are in place to support production requirements, and further information regarding working arrangements will be provided during the recruitment process.

If you're ready to take the next step in your career and join one of the world's leading luxury automotive manufacturers, we'd love to hear from you.
