Vehicle / Motor Technician (Level 2) - Temp Assignment

Location: Canterbury, Kent (CT4 7HH)
Pay: £16.50 per hour
Duration: Temporary Position | Immediate Start Available

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Level 2 Vehicle / Motor Technician to join a busy Fiat main dealership in Canterbury on a temporary basis with an immediate start available.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified technician to step into a professional dealership environment, supporting a well-established workshop team with a strong and consistent workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles
• Complete vehicle health checks and report findings accurately
• Undertake basic diagnostics and fault finding
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer and dealership standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
• Work efficiently to meet workshop targets and deadlines

Requirements

• Level 2 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (NVQ / City & Guilds / IMI or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a Vehicle / Motor Technician
• Ideally, experience gained within a main dealership environment
• Solid understanding of vehicle servicing and repair processes
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)

Desirable

• Experience working with Fiat or Stellantis brands
• Familiarity with dealership systems and workshop processes
