HGV Class 2 Driver - Yate - £17.00 per Hour

Manpower are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C) to join a well-established company based in Yate. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and customer-focused driver looking for regular weekday work with great hours and a supportive team.

The Role

Working as part of a two-person crew, you'll be responsible for delivering vending machines to customer sites. This is a physically demanding role that involves teamwork and excellent customer service.

With a maximum of four deliveries per day, you'll have the time to complete each delivery safely and professionally.

What You'll Be Doing

• Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
• Working alongside a driver's mate as part of a two-person team.
• Delivering vending machines to commercial customer locations.
• Assisting with moving and positioning machines using the correct equipment.
• Completing delivery paperwork and providing excellent customer service.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with driving regulations.

Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 6:00am and 8:00am
• Full-time day shifts
• No weekend work

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Previous multidrop or delivery experience is advantageous but not essential.
