Class 2 Driver

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Class 2 HGV Driver to join a growing operation based in Avonmouth.

This is a customer-facing role where you'll be responsible for collecting used cooking oil and related products from commercial customers while delivering fresh supplies. You'll be representing the business on a daily basis, so excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude are essential.

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Collecting used cooking oil and fats from customer premises
• Delivering fresh products to customers
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Completing vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulations
• Following planned routes efficiently and safely
• Using a smartphone or tablet to complete basic administration and delivery records
• Managing between 15 and 25 customer visits per day

This is a physically demanding role involving the lifting and movement of barrels, so a good level of fitness is required.

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 3 penalty points
