HGV Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver

Location: Uxbridge, West London
Pay Rate: £19.00 per hour + Overtime Available
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
Contract: Temp to Perm

Manpower is recruiting a HGV Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver for an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity with a leading environmental services company.

This is a varied role combining road sweeping, site housekeeping, and basic drainage/gully cleaning across customer sites throughout London and the surrounding areas.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating a HGV Class 2 road sweeper safely and efficiently.
• Sweeping roads, construction sites, and site access routes.
• Cleaning road gullies and drainage channels when required.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and customer service.
• Completing relevant paperwork and adhering to transport regulations.

What We're Looking For

• HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
• Waste management, recycling, or environmental services experience is highly desirable. Applicants with backgrounds in waste collection, skip, tipper, dustcart, drainage, road sweeping, or construction support services are encouraged to apply.
• Experience operating road sweepers, left-hand-drive vehicles, construction plant, or carrying out gully cleaning and site services work is advantageous but not essential.
