CNC Operator (Late Shift)

Location: Exeter, Devon
Shift: Late Shift, Monday to Thursday, 11:30am to 9:45pm
Pay: Competitive hourly rate + 20% shift uplift

We're hiring CNC Operators for a busy precision engineering company that manufactures high-spec components for industries where quality matters. The workshop is modern, well organised, and packed with the latest CNC technology. The business has built a strong reputation for producing precision-machined parts for sectors including aerospace, motorsport, medical and defence.

What you'll be doing

• Operating CNC milling and/or turning machines
• Loading and unloading parts
• Carrying out basic inspections using measuring equipment
• Checking parts against drawings and specifications
• Keeping machines running efficiently and safely
• Working with the wider team to hit production targets and maintain quality standards

What we're looking for

• Previous CNC operating experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Experience using micrometers, verniers and other inspection equipment
• Good attention to detail
• A reliable attitude and strong work ethic
• Someone who takes pride in producing quality work
