Monday to Thursday: 8:00am to 5:00pm | Friday: 8:00am to 4:00pm


About the Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global technology organisation operating within the advanced semiconductor manufacturing sector. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer with Clean Track (CT) expertise to join a highly skilled engineering team based at a prestigious customer site in Leuven, Belgium.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting complex semiconductor equipment through installation, modification, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and customer support activities. This position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of cutting-edge technology while collaborating with international engineering teams, including colleagues in Japan.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and administrative support for all site-sustaining activities, including installation, repair, upgrades, and preventative maintenance.
  • Deliver highly visible customer support through on-site diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, and optimisation of complex equipment and systems.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and ensure equipment operates to required performance standards.
  • Coordinate engineering change upgrades and implementation activities at the customer site.
  • Work closely with customers and internal engineering, operational, and administrative teams to ensure service excellence.
  • Maintain accurate technical records, reports, and documentation.
  • Support personnel scheduling and operational planning activities.
  • Respond effectively to critical equipment issues and escalations.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management.
  • Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of new modifications and technical solutions.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with safety, quality, compliance, and information security standards.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience working with Clean Track (CT) tools is essential.
  • Qualification in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent apprenticeship/industry experience (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or similar).
  • Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Equipment Engineer, or similar technical support role.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
  • High level of spoken and written Japanese, enabling effective communication with engineering teams and interpretation of technical documentation.
  • Experience liaising with manufacturing or engineering teams in Japan.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Ability to understand, implement, evaluate, and provide feedback on new equipment modifications and upgrades.
