Rate: £23.00 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week
Duration: 8 weeks intially

Job Overview

We are currently looking for an experienced Plumber to join a maintenance team working across a campus environment in Newcastle-under-Lyme. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of plumbing installations, maintenance, and repair works to ensure facilities remain safe and operational.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing installations across campus buildings.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing faults and pipework issues.
• Install and maintain sanitary ware, taps, toilets, sinks, and associated systems.
• Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with current regulations.
• Liaise with site staff and report any additional remedial works required.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in installation and maintenance plumbing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant CSCS card (if required).
