Manpower are currently recruiting for 6 x Commercial Pipe Fitters for a project based in Newcastle.


This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy commercial installation project with an initial duration of 6-12 weeks, with the potential for further work for the right candidates.

The Role


You will be working on commercial pipework installations, including:

  • Installation of screwed steel pipework
  • Working with 2" steel water pipes
  • Installing pipe supports, brackets and hangers
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Measuring, cutting and threading steel pipe using screw machines
  • General commercial mechanical installation duties
  • Moving and positioning pipework materials on site
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

Requirements

  • Time-served Pipe Fitter / Mechanical Pipe Fitter
  • Experience with screwed steel pipework installations
  • Ability to read and work from drawings
  • Commercial project experience essential
  • Valid CSCS Card
  • PASMA and/or IPAF desirable
  • Must be able to work at pace and hit the ground running

Duration

  • 6-12 weeks initially
  • Potential for further work

Rates

  • Competitive rates available
  • Candidates must have agreed rates with NRL before commencement
