An experienced Quality Consultant is required to support a food manufacturing business in Wisbech through a period of quality system improvement and change.

This is a hands-on role for a solutions-focused professional who can assess existing processes, identify gaps, and implement robust quality systems that meet customer and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and improve quality systems, procedures, and documentation.
• Update and rewrite SOPs alongside shop floor teams.
• Improve traceability and audit readiness across the site.
• Liaise with customers to understand and meet quality requirements.
• Support and guide the Quality Manager and wider team.
• Drive practical improvements and resolve compliance issues.

About You

• Proven quality leadership experience within food manufacturing or packaging.
• Packaging industry experience would be highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of audits, traceability, and quality systems.
• Confident communicator who can work effectively from shop floor to senior leadership level.
• Proactive, decisive, and able to deliver lasting improvements.
