Manpower are currently seeking an interim Annual Report Project Manager to work with our global FMCG client and to become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.

The position is based in Slough/Remote. This a full-time temporary role to start from September and to run for 6 months, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive.

This role is initially part time working 3 days per week (flexibility required as per business needs)

The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.

Role Overview:

The Annual Report Project Manager will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of the Group's Annual Report and Accounts (the "Report"), acting as the central coordination point across Finance, Company Secretariat, Investor Relations, Sustainability and other relevant functions, as well as external advisers and production providers.

The role will own the overall reporting plan and critical path, ensuring alignment on timelines, dependencies, review cycles and approval processes. The successful candidate will drive the delivery of all components of the Report, including financial, strategic, governance and ESG disclosures, ensuring a high-quality, timely and defensible output.

The role requires a highly organised and experienced project manager with the credibility and confidence to work effectively with senior executives, including the CEO and CFO Offices, the Company Secretary, General Counsel and external auditors. The individual will be expected to challenge constructively where deadlines are at risk, manage competing priorities and maintain momentum throughout the reporting cycle.

The role will also be responsible for embedding robust governance, verification and control processes, managing delivery risks and driving continuous improvement in Reckitt's annual reporting process.

Role & Responsibilities:

Annual Report Production

  • Lead the end-to-end project management and delivery of the Annual Report and Accounts and associated shareholder-facing materials, including the Notice of Annual General Meeting.
  • Develop, maintain and manage the overall reporting timetable, critical path, milestones, dependencies and approval processes.
  • Coordinate contributions from content owners across the business, ensuring delivery against agreed deadlines.
  • Manage drafting, review and verification cycles, ensuring comments are appropriately consolidated, prioritised and resolved.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging and disclosures across the Report and alignment with related external reporting and investor communications.
  • Manage relationships with external design, production and reporting service providers, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines and quality standards.

Governance & Compliance

  • Maintain a robust governance, review and sign-off framework for all Report content.
  • Coordinate verification and assurance activities, ensuring appropriate supporting evidence is obtained and retained.
  • Maintain an effective audit trail of key decisions, approvals and material disclosure changes throughout the reporting process.
  • Monitor developments in corporate reporting, governance and sustainability disclosure requirements and assess their impact on the reporting process.
  • Escalate disclosure, governance or delivery risks promptly to relevant stakeholders and governance forums.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all Annual Report stakeholders.
  • Build effective working relationships across the organisation to secure timely engagement, decision-making and delivery of actions.
  • Facilitate the Annual Report Steering Committee and Editorial Board, including meeting schedules, agendas and progress reporting.
  • Liaise closely with the CEO and CFO Offices, Company Secretariat, Finance, Sustainability, Investor Relations and other key stakeholders to coordinate review and approval cycles.
  • Coordinate Board and Committee input in collaboration with the Deputy Company Secretary.
  • Manage interactions with external auditors, including content reviews, assurance requirements and resolution of queries.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, key milestones, risks and mitigation plans to senior stakeholders.

Project & Risk Management

  • Identify, monitor and manage delivery risks, dependencies and bottlenecks throughout the reporting cycle.
  • Develop and implement mitigation and contingency plans where required.
  • Coordinate the final verification, sign-off and approval process ahead of Board approval and publication.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency, governance and stakeholder experience year-on-year.

Requirements

Professional qualifications / experience

  • Experience leading the end-to-end production of an Annual Report for a FTSE 100 listed company or advising FTSE-listed companies on annual reporting projects.
  • Demonstrable experience managing complex reporting projects involving senior executives, auditors, legal advisers and multiple functional workstreams.
  • Strong understanding of UK listed company reporting requirements, corporate governance expectations and reporting best practice.
  • Experience managing external design, production and reporting providers.
  • Proven ability to influence, challenge and manage senior stakeholders within a complex matrix organisation.
  • Experience delivering high-profile projects within fixed regulatory, governance and publication deadlines.
  • Familiarity with market-sensitive information and year-end reporting cycles.
  • Familiarity with Adobe InCopy, CTRLPrint or equivalent annual reporting software.
