CNC Machinist

Job Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC milling machines to produce machined components to specification
• Work from engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Carry out tool changes and set/adjust offsets to maintain correct machining parameters
• Inspect components to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain a safe and efficient working environment in line with site procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in CNC machining, with proven experience as a CNC Setter
• Milling experience preferred, including setting up and running CNC mills
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling and basic CNC programming concepts (as required for setting and production)
• Competent in using measuring equipment to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet tolerance requirements
• Committed to quality, safety and continuous improvement on the shop floor
