Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable Labourer / Flooring Assistant to support a flooring installation team on a short-term project. This is an entry-level role and would suit someone with a good work ethic, practical attitude, and willingness to carry out manual work.

Duties

• Assisting flooring fitters with installation work.
• Moving materials and equipment around site.
• Preparing work areas and keeping them clean and tidy.
• Removing old flooring and disposing of waste materials.
• Supporting the team with general labouring duties as required.
• Following all health and safety procedures on site.

Requirements

• Valid DBS certificate (essential).
• Reliable and punctual.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Previous labouring or construction experience is beneficial but not essential.

Working Hours

• Standard day shifts. 7 AM - 3 PM OR 8 AM - 4 PM
• Overtime may be available depending on project requirements.

This is a straightforward temporary role designed to provide additional support to the flooring installation team for a one-week project.
