The Role

Working from our client's engineering facility in Witham, you will be responsible for ensuring luxury leather products are manufactured and finished to the highest standards of quality and precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all products meet design specifications, tolerances, and exacting customer quality standards.
• Carry out rework and repairs on components where required.
• Work collaboratively with fellow technicians to achieve exceptional product finishes.
• Adapt quickly to changing production requirements and priorities.
• Maintain a professional, positive, and proactive approach at all times.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude.
• Follow production schedules to ensure deadlines are met efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality and craftsmanship, along with the ability to thrive within a skilled production team.

Skills & Experience

• Experience working within a manufacturing, upholstery, leathercraft, or automotive environment.
• Previous experience working with automotive leather is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of leather handling and finishing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret patterns, drawings, and work instructions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering premium-quality workmanship.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet production targets.
• Comfortable working as part of a small, close-knit team.
• Good awareness of workplace health and safety standards.
