Plant Operative - Falkirk

Temporary Role

Monday to Thursday 06:00-18:00

Nightshift required every 3 weeks

£15.50 per hour (all hours) Overtime opportunities available

Manpower has an exciting opportunity for Plant Operatives to join our client in Falkirk with an immediate start. This is a temporary role offering long shifts, strong earning potential, and the chance to work within a busy, well?established manufacturing environment.

About the Role

As a Plant Operative, you will support daily production activities across the site, ensuring a safe, efficient and well?organised working environment. Working closely with Plant Supervisors, you will help control site operations, machinery and materials to maintain smooth output and high production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating plant and production equipment safely
• Supporting manufacturing processes including batching, mixing, loading and material movement
• Monitoring machinery performance and reporting faults or irregularities
• Completing basic quality checks and recording production data
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards across work areas
• Following all site safety procedures, PPE requirements and compliance rules
• Assisting with stock control, waste management and general plant duties
• Working as part of a small team to meet daily production targets
• Adapting to nightshift every 3 weeks as part of the rotation

What We're Looking For

• Experience working in a small or medium?scale manufacturing or production environment
• Strong awareness of health & safety and safe working practices
• Reliable, team?focused attitude with good communication skills
• Ability to work in a physical, hands?on role
