2x Plant Operative / Waste Processing Operative

Location: Duncrue
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm (45 hours per week)

About the Role

We are looking for hardworking and reliable Plant Operatives to join our growing team at our waste processing facilities in Carryduff and Duncrue. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in the safe and efficient processing of waste materials while helping us maintain high environmental and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate plant and machinery in line with company procedures.
• Carry out waste sorting, segregation, and processing activities.
• Monitor plant performance and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
• Load, unload, and move materials around the site using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Follow all Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
• Complete daily inspections, records, and operational checklists.
• Assist with general site duties to support the smooth running of the facility.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily production targets.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Previous experience operating plant, machinery, or similar equipment.
• Ability to carry out physically demanding work in an outdoor/industrial environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining excellent attendance.
• A proactive attitude with a strong focus on safety.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.

Desirable

• CSR Card or relevant Health & Safety qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience operating agricultural or heavy machinery.
• Basic mechanical knowledge or maintenance experience.
