Location: Farnham
Salary: £17.18 an hour = £35,724 per annum (£32,160 basic salary + £3,564 annual shift allowance paid over 12 months)
Hours: Rotating shifts - 6:00am-2:00pm / 2:00pm-10:00pm

The Role
We're recruiting a Process Team Leader to join a busy and well-established powder coatings manufacturer based in Farnham. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supporting daily production operations, coordinating team activities, and ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently achieved.

Working closely with the Production Manager, you'll lead a team of Operators across the manufacturing process, providing guidance, support, and direction while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and support a team of Operators to achieve daily production targets
Allocate labour and delegate tasks effectively across the shift
Provide clear instructions and guidance to team members
Conduct shift handovers and communicate key information between shifts
Report maintenance issues promptly to the Engineering team
Monitor production performance and resolve operational issues as they arise
Ensure all health & safety procedures and company policies are followed
Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the production area
Support and develop team members through coaching, mentoring, and training
Identify training needs and assist in workforce development
Provide regular feedback and updates to management
Ensure quality control checks and product specifications are consistently met

About You
Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor, or senior production role within a manufacturing environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
Hands-on approach with the ability to motivate and support a team
Good problem-solving and organisational skills
Strong understanding of health & safety requirements within manufacturing
Committed to maintaining high standards of quality and productivity
