Production Operative - Deeside
We're looking for reliable, hard-working individuals who are eager to learn and develop within a manufacturing environment. Previous production experience would be beneficial, but it is not essential, as full training will be provided. We're recruiting for a Production Operator to join a busy production team in Deeside. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
The Role
As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations, maintaining production output, and ensuring all health, safety, and quality procedures are followed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating production machinery and equipment
- Supporting product filling and manufacturing processes
- Monitoring production runs to ensure targets and deadlines are achieved
- Identifying and reporting potential production issues or bottlenecks
- Assisting in reducing downtime and improving operational efficiency
- Completing production documentation accurately
- Reporting equipment faults and breakdowns to the maintenance team
- Following all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) procedures
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous labouring, warehouse, construction, manufacturing, or other physically demanding work experience
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- The ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting duties safely
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to work
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong awareness of health and safety in the workplace
- The ability to follow instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- A valid FLT (Forklift Truck) licence or previous FLT experience would be advantageous but is not essential
