Job Specification - Production / Factory Operative
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Job Overview
We are recruiting Production / Factory Operatives to work within a busy industrial environment. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals who are comfortable with hands-on work and physical tasks.
The site has two areas, and workers may be required to work across both sides depending on operational requirements.
Shift Patterns
Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm
Late Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm
Night Shift: 10:00pm - 6:30am
Break: 30 minutes per shift.
Key Responsibilities
Loading and unloading trolleys outside during the day shift.
Drilling and carrying out general production tasks.
Jet washing metal components and equipment.
Lifting, shifting and moving materials around the factory.
Keeping work areas clean and tidy, including sweeping floors.
Supporting general factory and production operations.
Moving materials and products between different areas of the site.
Working across both sides of the site as required.
Following health and safety procedures.
Working as part of a team to meet production targets.
Essential Requirements
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
Willing to work in a busy factory environment.
Able to follow instructions and health and safety procedures.
Flexible and willing to undertake a variety of production duties.
Previous factory or production experience is beneficial but not essential.
