We are currently recruiting for an experienced Shot Blaster/Painter to join a well-established company based in Dagenham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven shot blasting experience who is looking for a long-term role with the potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role:

• Shot blasting a variety of equipment and materials to a high standard
• Preparing surfaces for painting and finishing
• Assisting with painting duties where required
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
• Working as part of a busy and supportive team

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:30am - 4:30pm
• 42.5 hours per week
• 30-minute unpaid lunch break
• 2 x 15-minute paid breaks

Pay:

• Up to £14.75 per hour, depending on experience

Contract:

• Ongoing temporary assignment for up to 12 weeks
• Potential for a permanent position for the right candidate

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' shot blasting experience
• Full, clean driving licence
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently

Desirable Skills:

• Painting experience
• Counterbalance forklift licence

Additional Information: No forklift duties will be required during the temporary assignment. Should the role become permanent, a clean driving licence will be required and the company may support the successful candidate in obtaining a Counterbalance Forklift Certificate.
