Stevedore Required - Flixborough

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Stevedores to join a busy operation in Flixborough. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Working as part of a professional team, you will be responsible for the safe loading, unloading, securing, and handling of cargo while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.

Pay & Benefits

• £14.00 per hour
• Time and a half after 8 hours worked per shift
• Time and a half for all weekend hours worked
• Double time on Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading vessels safely and efficiently
• Lashing, securing, and releasing cargo
• Assisting with cargo movements and storage operations
• Operating plant and handling equipment where authorised
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Working effectively as part of a team to meet operational requirements
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area

Requirements

• Previous experience in stevedoring, port operations, logistics, warehousing, or a similar industrial environment preferred
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Ability to carry out physically demanding duties
• Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Driving licence preferred
• Forklift or plant operation experience would be advantageous
