Warehouse Operative - FLT Driver
Location: Burton-On-Trent, DE14 2BG
Pay rate: £13.25 per hour
Contract: Temp
Shifts: Monday - Friday 0800-1600 and 1600-0000 (Rotating shifts)


The FLT Driver will be responsible for safely operating forklift trucks to move stock, load and unload vehicles, and support warehouse operations during the shift. The role requires working safely, following warehouse procedures, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and accuracy.

What you'll be doing:

  • Operating an FLT to load and unload HGVs and shipping containers safely and efficiently.
  • Move stock around the warehouse
  • Complete picking and put-away tasks
  • Carry out daily vehicle and safety checks
  • Use warehouse systems including scanners and EWM
  • Follow Health & Safety and site procedures at all times
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards and follow 5S principles
  • Work closely with the Production and Warehouse teams
  • Support continuous improvement activities across site

What you'll bring:

  • Valid FLT licence - in house training certificates are accepted
  • Previous FLT experience
  • A positive attitude and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Good organisational skills and a proactive approach
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience in a similar packing or warehouse role is essential.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • A commitment to health and safety standards
