Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
Contract: Temporary assignment, working specific dates throughout July, August and first week of September 2026

Manpower UK Ltd is recruiting Handypersons to support with the assembly, dismantling and reassembly of desks, wardrobes and other bedroom furniture.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely taking apart existing furniture, assembling new items and rebuilding furniture in different locations as required. This role would suit someone who has previous experience working with flat pack or office furniture and is confident using hand tools.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble desks, wardrobes and other furniture items to a high standard
* Dismantle and reassemble furniture as required
* Safely move and position furniture within the workplace
* Use hand tools to complete assembly tasks efficiently
* Follow instructions and furniture assembly guides
* Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally
* Maintain a tidy and organised working environment

Requirements:
* Previous experience assembling or installing furniture is desirable
* Comfortable using hand tools and ideally able to provide your own tools
* Good attention to detail and a practical approach to problem solving
* Physically fit due to the nature of the role, including lifting and moving furniture
* Reliable and able to work scheduled dates throughout July and August
* Able to work independently
