Job Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 (C) vehicle in a safe and compliant manner
• Complete daily delivery and collection routes efficiently
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after shifts, reporting any defects promptly
• Ensure loads are secured correctly and handled with care
• Follow all relevant driving regulations, company procedures, and site requirements
• Maintain accurate records as required, including delivery documentation
• Provide a professional service to customers and site staff at all times
• Adhere to working time and tachograph rules, ensuring full compliance

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid digital tachograph card
• Good knowledge of UK road regulations and safe driving practices
• Experience driving a Class 2 vehicle (preferred) however newly passed considered
• Strong attention to detail for vehicle checks and delivery documentation
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
• Physically able to load/unload goods
• Willingness to follow health and safety procedures and company policies
