Class 2 Driver (Category C)

Bristol | Full Time | Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join a well-established and growing distribution business based in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable driver looking for consistent weekday work, early starts, and long-term stability.

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering carpets, flooring, and related products to both residential and commercial customers throughout Bristol and the surrounding areas.

This is a physically demanding role that involves regular manual handling and heavy lifting, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy being active and working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle
• Complete multi-drop deliveries across Bristol and the surrounding region
• Load and unload carpets and flooring products at customer sites
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and safety checks
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service at all delivery locations
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely and on schedule
• Comply with all road transport, health and safety, and company regulations

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous multi-drop or delivery driving experience is advantageous
• Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Strong time management and reliability
• Safety-conscious approach to work
