Forklift Driver

Job Overview

We are currently seeking experienced Forklift Drivers, for an immediate start, on behalf of our Client based at East Midlands Gateway. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods within a busy warehouse environment. A valid counterbalance or reach forklift licence is essential, and experience with both would be advantageous.

A range of shifts are available including:

* 0600-1430 Days

* 1400-2230 Afternoons

* 2200-0630 Nights

Monday to Friday only - No weekend working

Key Responsibilities

• Operating counterbalance and/or reach forklifts safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles
• Moving stock to designated storage areas
• Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch
• Carrying out daily forklift checks and reporting any defects
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements

• Valid counterbalance or reach forklift licence - Minimum 2 years experience preferred
• Previous experience in a busy warehouse or logistics environment
• Ability to meet set targets
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong awareness of health and safety regulations
• Positive work ethic and highly motivated
