Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

Pay: £16.45-£20.02 per hour

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Manpower is recruiting a qualified Maintenance Electrician to keep essential electrical systems safe and reliable in a busy healthcare environment.

Build specialist experience through technical training, varied fault-finding work and the opportunity to move into permanent employment.

What you'll do

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), fault finding and reactive repairs.
• Maintain lighting, power, generators, fire alarms and other critical electrical systems.
• Support low-voltage safety procedures, inspections and permit-to-work controls.
• Work with specialist contractors and assist with wider building services maintenance.
• Join an on-call rota and work one weekend day per month, with time off in lieu the following week.

What you'll need

• A recognised electrical trade apprenticeship and NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 in an electrical discipline (or equivalent).
• Electrical AM1 and AM2 qualifications and evidence of continuing professional development.
• Experience in electrical, engineering or building services maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding skills, independence and flexibility for out-of-hours duties.

Healthcare experience is desirable, not essential.
