Role: Mechanical Assembly Fitter
Location: Leeds
Duration: 6 months (likely to be extended)
Rate: £21.30 - £28.45 (plus quarterly bonus)
Shift: Days, Monday to Friday (early finish Friday)

We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter (Assembly) to work a day shift, Monday to Friday for our client in Leeds, initially for around 6 months but a strong possibility to be extended for longer.
As a Mechanical Fitter your role will involve dismantling and assembling a variety of equipment, from building rotors and pumps up to skid assembly. You will be using impact tooling and bolting etc. and candidates who can use a balancing machine will be of particular interest. You must be able to read ISO drawings and complete the associated paperwork. Good all-round mechanical assembly skills will be required. Overtime is available and paid at time and a half after 37 hours worked and double time for Sundays. Ideally, you'll be apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds or equivalent as a Mechanical Fitter with proof of qualifications and will have previously worked in a similar position.

This role is workshop based, the option of being paid Umbrella is also available. You will be working in a comfortable work environment, have free parking and access to a subsidised canteen and gym. If Paye you will receive 33 days holiday per annum. Dig allowance is also available for candidates over 50 miles from site. Good rates of pay and a quarterly bonus of £1000 (paid every 3 months).
