Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Pay: £14.56-£15.98 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: 37.5 per week

Manpower is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to help keep essential healthcare facilities running safely. You'll tackle varied maintenance challenges and develop specialist skills.
The Role
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
- Diagnose faults in heating, ventilation, plumbing and water systems.
- Maintain boilers, steam plant, pipework and mechanical equipment.
- Support inspections, installations and safe operation.
What You'll Need
- Level 3 Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing qualification, recognised trade apprenticeship, or equivalent qualifications or experience.
- Practical experience in mechanical maintenance, mechanical fitting or fault finding.
- Good problem-solving and safety awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Arrangements
One weekend day per month is required, with a day off in lieu the following week. On-call duties may be required following suitable training.
