We are seeking a Communications Support Officer to join our team in Derry/Londonderry. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and organised communications professional who is passionate about employee engagement, storytelling, and creating meaningful employee experiences.
Reporting directly to the Manager, EMEA Internal Communications, you will support the delivery of internal communications programmes across Seagate's EMEA sites, helping colleagues understand the company's vision, celebrate achievements, and stay connected to business priorities.
What You'll Be Doing
As Communications Support Officer, you will:
- Support the delivery of the annual internal communications plan across Northern Ireland and EMEA sites.
- Assist in planning, developing, and delivering engaging communication campaigns and employee engagement initiatives.
- Create compelling content across a range of formats including digital communications, photography, video, and web content.
- Maintain and update internal communication channels, including SharePoint, digital signage, and display areas.
- Support the development and management of content calendars and storytelling plans.
- Build and maintain a library of photography, video, and digital assets.
- Assist with the organisation and delivery of internal events, including logistics, materials, and on-site support.
- Monitor communication channel performance and provide recommendations to enhance engagement and effectiveness.
- Analyse audience insights and digital analytics to support targeted communications initiatives.
- Work closely with site leadership and key stakeholders to ensure communication activities align with business objectives.

Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in communications, marketing, employee engagement, or a related field.
- Experience supporting communication campaigns and engagement initiatives from planning through to execution and evaluation.
- Knowledge of internal communications, employer branding, employee engagement, or change communications.
- Experience creating content across digital, print, video, web, and social channels.
- Strong project planning and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and AI-enabled tools.
- Experience using creative and design platforms such as Canva, Adobe Express, and video editing tools.
- An interest in continuous professional development and the application of AI within communications.
- A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
