Manpower are currently seeking an interim International Senior Tax Manager to work with our global FMCG client Reckitt, renowned for brands such as Dettol, Finish and Nurofen, and to become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.
The position is based in Uxbridge. This is a full-time temporary role to start as soon as possible and to run for 12 to 14 months, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The role is an integral part of the Special Projects Tax team in respect of an internal restructuring project covering numerous countries across the world.
This will include:
- Designing the restructuring required in a number of countries using external tax advisers.
- Identifying the tax implications and tax costs of the restructuring.
- Holding the pen on the step plan documenting the required transaction steps.
- Working with both internal departments and external advisers to ensure all aspects of the proposed transactions are understood, issues are identified, and solutions found.
- Forming part of a project team to deliver on the project plan managed by the project management team through a series of tollgates, checkpoints and clearly defined deliverables.
- Ensuring all implementations are within deadline, complete, accurate and any immediate follow up post-implementation work is completed including ensuring all opinions, memos, rulings, elections, filings, etc. are prepared, reviewed and finalised on a timely basis.
- Reporting into the Special Projects Director / International Tax Director, who will ultimately sign off the projects. Therefore, keeping them up to date with key issues/risks arising and agreeing potential solutions / discussions.

- Accountancy qualification / experience preferred
