Production Operative - Dewsbury (Flexible Ad-Hoc Work Available)

Manpower is currently recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of our client based in Dewsbury.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible, ad-hoc work and the chance to earn some extra money in the run-up to Christmas. Shifts are offered as and when required, making this role ideal for candidates who can be flexible and are available at short notice.

Working Hours

Rotating Shifts (when available)

• Morning Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday to Thursday, 6:00am - 1:00pm Friday
• Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm - 9:00pm Friday

Please note that this is an ad-hoc position, and shifts are not guaranteed each week. Candidates will be contacted when work becomes available.

Pay Rates

• £14.62 per hour
• Increase to £16.10 per hour for candidates offered longer-term assignments after 12 weeks

Important

Due to the location and early start times, applicants must have their own transport or live within walking distance of the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Packing orders and preparing products for dispatch
• Feeding machines and monitoring production processes
• Performing routine cleaning and basic equipment maintenance
• Conducting quality checks to ensure product standards are met
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Supporting other production duties as required

What We're Looking For

• Previous production, warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking individuals
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety procedures
• Flexible approach to work and short-notice shift availability
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively within a team
