CNC Miller (3-Axis Milling) - Weekend Night Shift
Location: Yeovil (UK26 - Honeywell Aerospace)
Hours: 36 Hours Per Week (3 x 12 Hour Shifts) - Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 19:00 to 07:00
Pay: £16.13-£24.20
Ready for a role where your precision really matters? We're recruiting a CNC Miller to join a skilled, empowered team at our Aerospace site in Yeovil. You'll machine aerospace components to exacting standards, support operator quality checks, and help ensure on-time delivery-working a weekend night shift pattern.
What you'll be doing:
* Programming, setting and running 3-axis milling centres to manufacture aerospace equipment
* Producing parts in line with Manufacturing Instructions, specifications, and customer/regulator requirements
* Interpreting engineering drawings and following process layout and documentation procedures
* Operating OCQ (Operator Control of Quality) checks, including stamping to confirm assemblies meet Honeywell and customer standards
* Working to meet on-time delivery targets while achieving the required standard
* Contributing in a lean environment and supporting continuous improvement
What you'll bring:
* Solid knowledge of CNC milling (3-axis) or experience in related machining roles
* Confidence using hand measuring equipment such as Vernier, micrometers, thread gauges and plug gauges
* A strong commitment to Health & Safety-especially in a safety-critical aerospace environment
* Teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to use initiative
* PC literacy to work effectively with required systems and processes
* An improvement mindset (continuous improvement / lean ways of working)
Additional information:
* Training will be provided where needed (including company systems, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels, 5S, HOS principles, and Health & Safety)
* This role is subject to meeting eligibility conditions for Export Control Licences/Technical Assistant Agreements
* Mandatory requirements: Full BPSS screening (including proof of Legal Right to Work), UK DBS, and drugs screening
