Manpower are currently seeking an interim Senior Manager, Transformation PMO to work with our global FMCG client Reckitt, renowned for brands such as Dettol, Finish, Nurofen to become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.
The position is based in Slough. This a full-time temporary role to start as soon as possible and to run for 12 months, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive.
The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Transformation PMO Lead to establish and run the Programme Management Office for a strategic IT Operations Transformation programme.
This programme will transform IT service operations from a predominantly manual, people-intensive operating model to a modern AI-enabled and automation-driven model, leveraging AI Ops, intelligent automation, predictive operations, and enhanced service management capabilities across all IT&D service towers (Lots).
The role will work in close partnership with the Transformation Director, Lot leaders, vendors, Finance, Procurement, HR, and senior IT&D leadership to ensure successful programme delivery. A key component of the programme may include the transition of operational services from our incumbent service provider to a new strategic partner, subject to the outcome of an ongoing sourcing process.
The successful candidate will establish programme governance, drive planning and execution disciplines, manage interdependencies across workstreams, track risks and benefits, and provide leadership visibility through high-quality reporting and controls.

In summary, you'll:
* Establish and lead the programme management office for a multi-workstream IT Operations Transformation programme
* Define programme governance, decision-making forums, reporting structures, and delivery standards
* Partner closely with the Transformation Director to ensure programme objectives, milestones, and outcomes remain aligned
* Develop and maintain integrated programme plans across all Lots, managing dependencies, critical paths, and resource requirements
* Coordinate delivery activities across internal teams, service tower leaders, vendors, and transformation partners
* Support planning and execution of a potential managed services transition from incumbent suppliers to a new strategic vendor
* Maintain programme RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) processes and drive effective mitigation actions
* Establish executive reporting and dashboards that provide clear visibility of progress, risks, costs, benefits, and decisions required
* Drive programme governance with senior stakeholders, ensuring accountability and timely decision-making
* Track financial performance, business cases, budgets, forecasts, and transformation benefits realization
* Monitor programme quality and ensure adherence to agreed delivery methodologies, controls, and compliance requirements
* Coordinate change management activities and readiness planning across impacted teams and stakeholders
* Support organisational transition activities, including operating model changes, service transformation, workforce impacts, and vendor onboarding
* Drive continuous improvement in programme delivery practices and governance processes
* Ensure successful handover of transformed capabilities into business-as-usual operations

Your experience & skills:
* Significant experience leading PMO or programme governance functions for large-scale technology transformation initiatives
* Proven track record supporting complex global transformation programmes involving multiple stakeholders and workstreams
* Experience managing large-scale IT outsourcing, managed services transitions, service integration, or vendor transformation programmes
* Strong knowledge of programme management methodologies, governance frameworks, and portfolio management practices
* Experience managing executive-level reporting and steering committee governance
* Strong understanding of IT Operations, Service Management, Automation, AI Ops, Cloud Operations, or Digital Transformation environments
* Experience managing programme financials, budgets, forecasts, and benefits tracking
* Expertise in risk, issue, dependency, and change management
* Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior leadership teams
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to simplify complex situations into actionable insights
* Experience working in global and matrixed organisations
* Relevant programme management certifications (PMP, MSP, PRINCE2, PgMP, Agile, or equivalent) desirable
