Warehouse Operative
Location: Ivybridge, PL21 9GN
Shifts: Sunday - Thursday 9:30pm - 06:30am
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

We are currently looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives to join a night shift team in Ivybridge. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in the smooth running of our operations by picking orders using forklifts (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck), loading vehicles for delivery, and assisting with the cutting of flooring products when required.

This role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will also be responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and safe, ensuring compliance with company health and safety policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking orders from the warehouse using forklifts (Counterbalance/Reach Truck).
• Loading vehicles for delivery, ensuring the correct items are dispatched.
• Utilising in-house systems (tablets/RF scanners) to print jobs and track orders.
• Cutting flooring products as required to fulfil orders.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment, ensuring safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• always adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating forklifts (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck).
• Ability to work efficiently during night shifts (09:3pm - 6:30am, Sunday to Thursday).
• Comfortable using in-house systems (tablets, RF scanners).
• Ability to cut flooring products when required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work at pace.
• A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
