Job Role
37 Hours - £14.15 per hour
Reception

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, candidates, clients, and internal staff, providing a professional and welcoming service in person, by phone, and via email.
  • Respond to routine enquiries relating to payroll, tax, holiday pay, applications, and Unitemps processes, escalating where appropriate.

Candidate Registration and Compliance

  • Register new candidates, carrying out right-to-work and visa checks, and ensuring accurate completion of payroll and compliance documentation.
  • Provide candidates with relevant information and materials to ensure they are prepared before starting work.

Administration and Booking Support

  • Allocate candidates to bookings and issue correspondence to candidates and clients, following up on outstanding checks and references.
  • Support consultants with general administrative tasks.

Data and Systems Management

  • Maintain accurate candidate and client records within the Unitemps database.
  • Monitor job adverts on the Unitemps website to ensure accuracy and currency.

General Support

  • Undertake additional duties and projects as directed by the Branch Manager.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, database packages and the internet.
  • Clerical or administration experience in an office environment.
  • Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive working relationships.
  • Good problem solving with ability to use initiative.
