- £13.45 per hour (Weekdays)
- £17.91 per hour (Saturdays)
- £23.24 per hour (Sundays & Bank Holidays)
Working Pattern
- 5 days out of 7
- Shifts between 6:00am and 8:00pm
- Various contract hours available:
- 16 hours per week
- 24 hours per week
- 30 hours per week
- 37.5 hours per week
The Role
We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Catering Assistants to join a busy food service operation.
This role would suit candidates who enjoy working as part of a team, can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to maintaining high standards of customer service, food safety, and cleanliness.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and service of meals and beverages.
- Ensure food is presented and served to the required standards.
- Support the delivery of catering services to customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout catering and food service areas.
- Wash and sanitise catering equipment, utensils and food preparation areas.
- Replenish food, beverages and consumables as required.
- Assist with stock control, stock rotation and the storage of deliveries.
- Comply with all Food Hygiene, Health & Safety and Infection Prevention policies.
- Follow cleaning schedules and maintain accurate records where required.
- Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties associated with the catering service.
Essential Requirements
- Valid Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (Manpower can support with this)
- A minimum of 2 years catering experience.
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns.
