We are recruiting a Laboratory Technician to join our client's Oral Care team in Ashford

This role supports product development and quality control activities across both the Oil and Applications laboratories.
You will be responsible for preparing and compounding flavour formulations, incorporating them into oral care bases such as toothpaste and mouthwash, managing samples and documentation, and ensuring all work is completed in line with GMP and laboratory safety standards

Working closely with flavourists and internal teams, you will prepare trial batches, record and track results using internal systems (including SAP and LCMS), support stability testing, and help maintain accurate stock control of raw materials.

The position also involves maintaining a clean and organised lab environment, ensuring equipment calibration records are up to date, and assisting with quality investigations or audits when required.

What We're Looking For
Ideally we are seeking someone with previous laboratory experience in FMCG, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or a similar regulated environment would be advantageous.

You should be comfortable following set formulations accurately, handling raw materials safely, and maintaining detailed records. Basic IT skills (Word and Excel) are required, and experience using systems such as SAP or other inventory/LIMS platforms would be beneficial but is not essential.
