Cleansing Operative

Hourly Rate: £14.80
Contract type: Temporary ongoing
Working hours: Monday to Friday 07:30am until 15:30pm

About the role
Do you take pride in your community and enjoy working outdoors? We're looking for a cleansing operative to help keep Camden clean and tidy. As a visible and valued member of the team, you'll be responsible for emptying bins, collecting litter, moving waste to designated collection points, and ensuring public areas remain welcoming for everyone.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively throughout the day
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Physically fit and able to carry out outdoor manual duties in all weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Ability to interact politely with members of the public and represent the town positively
• Basic problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative
• Full driving licence
